Portugal: Dream Yoga with Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche – for the first time in Portugal – Lisbon
Lisbon | 21-23 April, 2023
Dream Yoga with Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche – for the first time in Portugal in Lisbon.
It is with great joy that we announce the visit of Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche to Portugal, for the first time, to teach.
The theme will be Dream Yoga and the teaching will take place on the weekend of April 22 and 23. On Friday, 21st of April there will be a free talk.
It will be a precious opportunity to have contact with this theme through one of the few heirs, living in the West, of a very ancient tradition, called Bön.
“We sleep one third of our life, an average of twenty to twenty five years. Centuries ago, Tibetan yogis developed spiritual practices that use dreaming and sleep as a spiritual path.” Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche
The Dream Yoga is a practice that encompasses every moment of life, awake and asleep. It is a powerful awakening tool, used for hundreds of years by the great masters of the tibetan traditions. The foundational practices, done during the day, change the practitioner’s relationship to all experiences, developing awareness and realizing the dreamlike nature of life, leading to lucidity in dreams that are then used for higher spiritual practices. Unlike the Western psychological approach to dreams, the ultimate goal of Tibetan Dream Yoga is the recognition of the nature of mind and enlightenment itself.
