A special evening event to relax and indulge in a variety of therapies including: Reflexology, Organic facials, Indian Head massage, Waxing, Mani/pedicure, Paraffin waxing, Essential Oils Aromatherapy Massage, Swedish Massage, Angel Card readings, Craniosacral Therapy, Hairdressing, Back Massage &#8211; Relaxing, Sport, Deep tissue, Tarot Readings&#8230; and more .</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">All proceeds from ticket sales and refreshments will go to the Special Yoga Centre Charity to enable them to continue offering Yoga Therapy to infants and children with special needs, and to continue to provide support to their families.</p>

<p>The <a href="http://www.namaskaram.co.uk" target="_blank">Independent Yoga Network</a> is hosting its second Yoga Festival, which is taking place over the weekend of June 18th &#8211; 20th. Once again, there will be a wide selection of workshops, offering a balanced programme from the meditative to the very active, embracing different aspects of Yoga and its philosophy, and given by some of the most experienced teachers in the UK. We want this Festival to be an opportunity for the Yoga Community to debate and share, to practise and relax, and above all else enjoy !!!!</p>
<p>We are a child-friendly festival, offering Suryah Childrens Club, run by experienced volunteers; a place for children to be cared for and nurtured with a range of stimulating activities. This gives parents the opportunity to enjoy their workshops, knowing that their children are having a good time too !!</p>
<p>The Festival will be held at the <a href="http://www.osholeela.co.uk" target="_blank">Leela Centre</a> in the gorgeous Dorset countryside. With 15 acres of grounds to explore, the venue offers beautiful group rooms, a range of comfortable accommodation, delicious vegetarian food and a warm and friendly atmosphere. The Leela Centre is located within 2 hours of London and with easy travel connections by road and rail.</p>

<p>An eclectic group of Yoga, Art, Music and Dance teachers come together under one enormous yurt and marquees to offer a three day Yoga Camp, near Ashey Down on the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isle_of_Wight" target="_blank">Isle of Wight</a>. Celebrate under the sun, stars and canvas&#8230;.. joining some outstanding and inspirational teachers from the island and around the country. Families and children are welcomed and there will be a specific programme designed for the children, including yoga, circus skills, tai chi and art.</p>
<p>This new event is designed to bring the Yoga community and families together to offer a chance to practice, share, sing and celebrate yoga and many other complementing activities. We have gathered together a tribe of fabulous teachers: the Island&#8217;s favourites and some well-known teachers from the mainland. Her background is in music, dance and theatre. Sue&#8217;s classes are enthused by her creative background. Sue is the director of Yoga on a Shoestring which she set up in 2003.<br />

<p>Rev. Padma Priya will lead a “Living Yoga Retreat” entitled “A Journey Through The Koshas – Exploring the Subtle Energy Bodies” at <a href="http://www.grandyoga.com/schools/schools/yoga-almancil-quinta-da-calma-a-school-of-life-portugal-almancil-portugal" target="_self">Quinta da Calma</a> in the Portugal’s Algarve.</p>
<p>The koshas are the 5 sheaths or layers of our energy body, from the physical to the subtle spiritual level. Each kosha signifies a more refined dimension of consciousness.</p>
<p>This wonderful holiday retreat will be a Journey Through The Koshas, each day exploring one kosha at a time through Yoga ásana, pránáyáma, meditation and direct experience, leading the participants to a full experience of the highest level of consciousness.</p>
<p>After a delicious lunch you can spend the afternoons relaxing by the pool, going to the beach or enjoying the beautiful organic gardens and grounds of <a href="http://www.grandyoga.com/schools/schools/yoga-almancil-quinta-da-calma-a-school-of-life-portugal-almancil-portugal" target="_self">Quinta da Calma</a>, our beautiful retreat centre in the Algarve.</p>
<p>Every day there will be an opportunity to enjoy a second hatha session at 5pm and after supper there will be a special evening programme of talk, games, music, chant, &amp; dance with Padma and some special guests. Padma will also be available for one kinesiology session per day (book early!). There will be the opportunity to share early morning meditation and hatha with Padma for those who want to.<br />

She has taught yoga for almost 25 years, is a senior teacher trainer for Integral Yoga and the founder of several Integral Yoga Centres in Europe.<br />
A much-loved teacher by all who have had the opportunity to work with her, Rev. Padma has an amazing gift for opening hearts and helping people to understand the deep underlying teachings of Yoga. Her nurturing presence enables each one to really feel the divinity within that can blossom through a yogic way of life.<br />

<li>Presentation of the book by Eric Baret “L’Unico Desiderio: Nella Nudità del Tantra” in English “The Only Desire In the Nakedness of Tantra”. The meeting will be conducted by Stefania Redini and Gioia Lussana that will lead a short practice of Kashmir Tantric Yoga learned from the Master</li>
<li>“How many of us are eagerly wanting to open a center dedicated to their Yoga Teacher, or a tradition? Gianni Da Re Lombardi, expert in communication, web marketing and advertising and, in addition, Yoga teacher, will discuss the subject.</li>
<li>“Philosophy of Yoga” by Georg Feuerstein. A book that explains the aims, methods and metaphysical system of Yoga with a method of interpretation internal to the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. Prof. Blessed Edward will conduct the meeting with brief practice</li>

<li>Sri Aurobindo: “An Adventure of Consciousness” &#8211; A meeting/projection with director David Montemurro, who lived  for long years in Auroville and, for his particular spiritual quest, is considered to hold the wisdom of enlightened masters Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.</li>
<li>Theoretical and practical Conference on the “New Perspectives on Yoga in the Light of Quantum Physics” conducted by Guru Shabad. A fascinating topic that combines science and spirituality.</li>
<li>Not to be missed is the encounter with Paramahamsa Swamiji Yogananda Giri, dedicated to the Yoga Upanishad: Past and Future, Timeless Knowledge. A hug for a world of unity and peace.</li>
<li>And, for those who do not know yet, “virtual meeting” with Amma. Amma Mata Amritanandamayi Devi is a hindu spiritual leader and teacher, honoured as a saint by her followers, known as Amma, Mother, the saint that embraces, widely respected for her humanitarian activities. The festival, will present two films on her humanitarian work.</li>

<p>There will be a shared practice: Involve your partner, friend, son, husband … Acrobatic Yoga, Trekking Yoga, Laughter Yoga, Yoga Nidra, or for those seeking a more intimate moment, the teaching of Thich Nhat Hanh. In pairs is better !</p>
<p><strong>Body Heat?</strong> It happens in Bikram Yoga: the style of the moment, still little known in Italy but widespread abroad, it is practiced in a heated room to melt the muscles and feel fluid. Isabella Zuanelli Ponso, certified Bikram teacher, introduces the basics of Hot Yoga.</p>
<p>Are you sensitive? Yoga Journal and Sorgenia have prepared a spot for you to learn Sensitive Yoga, a sequence of positions that call for energy production, designed by the teacher Francesca Hezi.</p>
