Tsering Paldron – Love and fearlessness in a time of uncertainty in Stockholm – Sverige.

We are very happy to welcome Tsering Paldron to Stockholm for a 2 day City retreat.

This is the first time Tsering Paldron, a Buddhist nun, visits us in Stockholm. Hopefully it will the first of many.

Love and fearlessness in a time of great uncertainty

Now is a time of great uncertainty. Climate change, wars leading to people fleeing their countries and looking for refuge with us, our tax money being spent unwisely, our leaders acting in a self-serving and unjust way. Often we feel that we lack control. Can we trust in our leaders? Does my voice make a difference?

Now, more than ever before, is a time when we need to believe in ourself. We need to believe in a loving way to change our reality. We need to find strength to listen to, and believe in, that which our hearts tell us rather than that which the scaremongers, whom pray on our insecurities, say.

This weekend Tsering Paldron will share her loving wisdom with us. How to stop putting ourself down and find love and fearlessness within ourself so that we can start making decisions based on clarity of thought, compassion and trust in ourself.

Join us on this journey towards living a life in fearless love, no matter what circumstances surrounds us.

The teachings are on a donation basis. Please help as you can.

This is a non-profit event, charity event.

Recommended donation:
300 – 600 sek per day. The retreat is over 2 days.

All money donated will go directly to pay for expenses for the visit. Please help as much as you feel you can. This event is organised by an individual who has gratefully been accepted to help bring Tsering Paldron’s wonderful teachings to us.

Any money left over after expenses paid will go to support Rigul Trust, www.rigultrust.org/

About Tsering Paldron

Tsering PaldronTsering Paldron was born in Lisbon, Portugal and travelled to Brussels at the age of 19 where she discovered Tibetan Buddhism. Her spiritual journey started in 1973. She did a three years’ retreat in the 80’s in France, under the guidance of Dudjom Rinpoche and Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and under the supervision of Pema Wangyal Rinpoche. She has received teachings from many other lamas of all schools of Tibetan Buddhism.

She has been teaching and travelling for the past 25 years, wrote a few books, mainly in Portuguese. The Adventures of Tashi, the Tibetan Cricket – a children’s book – is available in English, French and German.

She gives regular courses, seminars, talks and meditation classes and is in charge of Bodhicharya Portugal. She is regularly invited to teach in the UK, in Berlin and St. Martin (Caribbean), in Bodhicharya and other Buddhist groups.

I remember a warm and sunny day in my youth when I suddenly felt happiness didn’t necessarily depend on anything. It could sprung from within without apparent reason, anytime, anywhere. Actually it felt like underneath my busy and restless mind laid an ocean of sheer and pristine joy, never tainted or polluted even by the most outrageous disturbances.

Existential questions about life’s meaning had been bothering me since my early teens. I suddenly realized they were actually pointless since all the meaning I needed could be achieved by living each moment to it’s fullest.

Unfortunately, doing so wasn’t so easy. Simplicity and suchness are not easy things to accomplish. Fears, desires, all sorts of contradicting feelings bind us and make the light of our awareness dim to a semi-conscious level. And so, the attempt of living life fully, moment by moment, is often mistaken with doing crazy things, living in an unwholesome and chaotic way.

Fortunately, before I could jump into a wretched way of life, Buddhism came my way, unannounced. I had never imagined the answer to my questions could be found in a spiritual path and my untamed mind desperately struggled to escape from the discipline entailed. But karma had decided otherwise.

Almost 40 years passed and countless layers of unnecessary complications were stripped away. I met a great number of extraordinary beings who were the living proof that, not only the sheer and pristine ocean of joy can surface in our consciousness anytime, but actually, IT IS the very essence of our mind, what we call Buddha nature.
